The workshop will include:

• Theoretical concepts of sports taping
• The indications and contraindications of sports taping
• The practical skill of applying tape and use for an MSK caseload
• Discussion of different taping products and appropriate usage
• Discussion of the Psychology surrounding sports taping.

The course fee is £120+VAT.

The participants must be engaged in a healthcare profession degree.

This course is designed for health care professional students, or beginners who have not yet had experience in this field and wish to expand their clinical knowledge, and hands on skill set.

The course will be attended by Physiotherapy, Sports rehabilitation and Chiropractic students, or beginners.

• A theoretical understanding of the indications and contraindications for applying tape to patients.
• A practical understanding of how to apply tape in the correct way to patients to allow maximum clinical outcomes.
• A 6hour CPD certificate as proof of working towards their CPD goals.

Face to face teaching with a focus on the practical side of the teaching, a powerpoint presentation will be used through the workshop and slides will be available to participants to download and keep.

8 hours over one day.

No formal assessment, participants are gaining knowledge and skills to utilise themselves, within their own practice.
