The CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management & Leadership is tailored for practicing or aspiring middle managers and leaders. It provides individuals with vital skills to lead and manage teams effectively, align organisational objectives with strategic goals, and drive success. Covering a range of topics including management principles, team leadership, stakeholder relationships, project and change management, operational planning, and financial management, this course offers comprehensive training.
Designed for middle managers and leaders at various levels, participants are typically accountable to senior management or business owners. Their primary role involves guiding teams to achieve organisational objectives in line with the overall strategy. Responsibilities may encompass team development, operational planning, project management, change management, financial oversight, resource management, and fostering continuous improvement.
There are no formal entry requirements, but participants are typically practicing or aspiring middle managers committed to their professional growth.

Our qualifications are broken down into units and relevant topics aligned to the level and qualification. Our Level 5 Diploma in Management & Leadership comprises 6-7 units , including (We advise that you choose the 1st unit and then choose additional units related to your development and learning requirements. You will discuss your choices and the credits available for each unit with your tutor at the induction session):

The programme spans 12 months and includes 13 x monthly 1-2-1 tuition sessions, conducted via MS Teams or Zoom.
Participants would be expected to dedicate between 5-8 hours per week undertaking the modules and to complete the assessments.
Assessment: one assignment per learning unit. A series of practically focused assignments based the subject theme and topics, your role, your organisation and your own development as a manager and leader.
Participants earn 37 credits upon successful completion of this course.
